Avertid (betahistine)

Avertid contains the active ingredient betahistine, histamine H1/H3 receptor modulator (anti-vertigo).

Avertid Indications

Disease and Meniere’s syndrome, characterized by three main symptoms:

– Dizziness, sometimes accompanied by nausea and vomiting;

– Hearing loss;

– Noise in the ears.

Symptomatic treatment of vestibular vertigo.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug; pheochromocytoma; dysulfiramu treatment of derivatives (Avertyd containing 5% by volume of ethanol).

Dosage & Administration
