Energoton (trimetazidine)

Energoton contains the active ingredient trimetazidine, anti-anginal / cytoprotective agent.

Energoton Indications

Cardiology: long-term treatment of coronary heart disease, prevention of angina attacks (monotherapy or in combination with other drugs).
Otolaryngology: treatment of cochlear-vestibular disorders of ischemic origin, dizziness, tinnitus, hearing loss.
Ophthalmology: chorioretinal disorders caused by ischemia.

Dosage & Administration

3 pills a day in 3 divided doses during meals, washed down with a glass of water. The duration of treatment depends on the severity and course of the disease. Use of the drug in the elderly do not require dose adjustments.

Contradictions

Individual hypersensitivity to the drug. Energoton advised not to take during pregnancy and lactation.
