Fosicard (fosinopril + hydrochlorothiazide)

Fosicard contains the active ingredient fosinopril + hydrochlorothiazide, ACE inhibitor + thiazide diuretic.

Dosage & Administration

The drug is prescribed by a doctor. Administered orally, regardless of food intake, drinking plenty of water. The dose is determined individually.
Adults. The usual dose is 1 tablet 1 time per day.
In severe renal impairment, creatinine clearance <30 mL / min the drug is not recommended. Patients with severely impaired renal function administered loop diuretics.
In mild or moderate renal impairment (creatinine clearance> 30 mL / min, serum creatinine is about 3 mg / dL or 265 umol / L) is recommended usual dose Fosicard N.
If abnormal liver function there is no need for dose adjustment.
Elderly patients may be more sensitive to the action of the drug due to slow metabolism.
The maximum daily dose is 2 tablets.

Contradictions

Contraindicated in severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance <30 mL / min / 1.73 m2), anuria, gout, expressed electrolyte imbalance
