Korvalol (phenobarbital + ethyl bromisovalerate)

Korvalol contains the active ingredient phenobarbital + ethyl bromisovalerate, sedative / antispasmodic combination.

Korvalol Indications

Neuroses with increased irritability:

– insomnia;
– treatment of hypertension and vascular dystonia;
– expressed mild spasms of the coronary vessels, tachycardia;
– intestinal spasms (as an antispasmodic drug).

Dosing and Administration

Korvalol is administered sublingually (under the tongue) or into an adult 1 tablet 2-3 times a day. If necessary (marked tachycardia and coronary spasm) single dose may be increased to three tablets. The duration of the drug determined by the doctor depending on the clinical response and tolerability.

Contraindications

– hypersensitivity to the drug, bromine;
– expressed human liver and / or kidney problems;
– hepatic porphyria;
– severe heart failure.
