Korvalol (phenobarbital + ethyl bromisovalerate)

Korvalol contains the active ingredient phenobarbital + ethyl bromisovalerate, sedative / antispasmodic combination.

Korvalol Indications

Neuroses with increased irritability:

– insomnia;
– treatment of hypertension and vascular dystonia;
– expressed mild spasms of the coronary vessels, tachycardia;
– intestinal spasms (as an antispasmodic drug).

Dosing and Administration

Korvalol is taken orally with or without food 2-3 times a day for 15-30 drops with water or on a piece of sugar. If necessary (marked tachycardia and coronary spasm) single dose may be increased to 40-50 drops.

The duration of the drug determined by the doctor depending on the clinical response and tolerability.

Contraindications

– Hypersensitivity to the drug, bromine;

– Expressed human liver and / or kidney problems;

– Hepatic porphyria;

– Severe heart failure;
