Korvalol (phenobarbital + ethyl bromisovalerate)

Korvalol contains the active ingredient phenobarbital + ethyl bromisovalerate, sedative / antispasmodic combination.

Korvalol Indications

Neuroses with increased irritability:

– insomnia;
– treatment of hypertension and vascular dystonia;
– expressed mild spasms of the coronary vessels, tachycardia;
– intestinal spasms (as an antispasmodic drug).

Dosing and Administration

Corvalol® is prescribed sublingually (under the tongue) or orally for adults, 1 tablet 2–3 times a day.

If necessary (pronounced tachycardia and spasm of coronary vessels), a single dose can be increased to 3 tablets.

Contraindications

– Hypersensitivity to the drug component;

– severe hypotension;

– myocardial infarction.
