Amlipin (amlodipine + lisinopril)

Amlipin contains the active ingredient amlodipine + lisinopril, calcium channel blocker + ACE inhibitor combination.

Amlipin Indications

Essential hypertension.
 

Contraindications

– Hypersensitivity to lisinopril or other angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE);
– Hypersensitivity to dihydropyridine derivatives and other components of the drug;
– Hypersensitivity to any of the excipients of the drug;
– Severe hypotension;
– A history of angioedema after taking an ACE inhibitor, hereditary or idiopathic angioedema;
– From the hemodynamics – pronounced aortic stenosis or mitral valves or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardiogenic (heart) shock;
– Heart failure after myocardial infarction (during the first 28 days);
– Unstable angina (except Prinzmetal angina);
– Pregnancy and lactation;
– Children’s age (efficacy and safety of the drug is unknown).
 

Dosage & Administration

Amlipin is used internally. Take 1 tablet 1 time per day regardless of the meal. If necessary, the daily dose can be doubled. The maximum daily dose for adults – 20 mg.
