Polydexa (neomycin + polymyxin B + dexamethasone)

Polydexa contains the active ingredient neomycin + polymyxin B + dexamethasone, antibiotic-corticosteroid ear drops.

Polydexa Indications

– external otitis, in particular infected eczema external auditory canal;

– acute otitis media without damaging the eardrum.

Dosage & Administration

1-5 drops in each ear 2 times a day; children – 1-2 drops into each ear, two times a day for 7 days. The average length of treatment was 7 days depending on the nature and severity of the disease.

Before using ear drops it is recommended to warm the bottle by holding it in your hand, in order to avoid discomfort due to hit the cold fluid in the ear.

Do not inject under pressure. Tilt the head to drip right amount of drops into the ear and keep the head tilted for several minutes. Thus drip each ear.

Contradictions

– hypersensitivity (allergy) to any component of the drug, in particular an antibacterial components which are part of the drug or other aminoglycosides;

infectious or mechanical damage to the eardrum;

– the presence of viral, fungal and tuberculosis infection in the external ear canal.
