Otinum (choline salicylate)

Otinum contains the active ingredient choline salicylate, NSAID ear drops.

Otinum Indications

Acute otitis media, otitis externa and tympanitis.

You can also apply before flushing the ear canal when curing ear wax.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance, other salicylates or the excipient.

Perforation of the eardrum.

Dosage & Administration

For the treatment of otitis media, otitis externa and tympanitis usually instilled 3-4 drops into the ear 3-4 times daily.

To soften ear wax before removing it from the ear usually instilled 3-4 drops in the ear two times a day for 4 days.

The elderly no need to change the dosage.

Patients with impaired renal function and liver no need to change the dosage.
