Aksef (Cefuroxime) 500 mg 10-20 tablets

Aksef Composition

active ingredient: cefuroxime;

1 tablet contains cefuroxime axetil equivalent to cefuroxime 500 mg;

excipients: corn starch, crospovidone, croscarmellose sodium, sodium lauryl sulfate, magnesium stearate, colloidal silicon dioxide, Sepifilm LP 770 coating: hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, titanium dioxide (E 171).

Indications

Treatment of infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to the drug:

– Upper respiratory tract infections, otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis and pharyngitis

– Respiratory tract infections, pneumonia, acute bronchitis, exacerbation of chronic bronchitis

– Urinary tract infections, pyelonephritis, cystitis and urethritis

– Infections of skin and soft tissues: furunculosis, pyoderma and impetigo

– Gonorrhea, acute uncomplicated gonococcal urethritis and cervicitis

– Treatment of early manifestations of Lyme disease and subsequent prevention of late manifestations of Lyme disease in adults and children aged 12 years.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to cephalosporin antibiotics.

The duration of treatment is 7 days.

For better absorption of the drug are advised to take after meals.
